Took some more pics today, some of the things in my Aviary..

The new run.

Tubes to play in.

Pine scrub for digging and storing in.

Two of my females with one of this years babies in the middle, they`re getting big now.

A pile of straw with a nest box in, they love this one. You can just see this in the rear right corner of the pic of the run.

Exploring the wall basket..

Enjoy.

I want to be a chipmunk.
That is the best aviary ever, it is a chipmunk palace.
They look tiny in there.
I would like to ask do you have a double door on it so the monkeys don't leg it?

No i don`t have a double door just yet, i don`t want to take up any of the interior space with a caged door and i don`t want to spoil the front by having more mesh and wood infront of the viewing area. I am considering moving my shed away from the side of my run and putting an entrance on the side.
For now i have to make sure none of them are near the door and run in very quickly(risky i know).

Before my aviary was completed my hubby built me a temporary double door. It was wooden framed with wire & a door but just 3 sided. I used to hook it in front of the aviary door each time i wanted to enter it. I haven't explained it very well but it did the job & could be stored away from the aviary.

Alternatively you could place some tasty treats through the wire at the opposite end of where your door is to keep the chips distracted while you enter.
