Hi we have a large outdoor aviary and just lost our female chipmunk Waffle . She looked a little out of sorts and though she kept on coming out to see us, one morning she didnt any more.
Now our young male chipmunk is alone. Does anyone know of chipmunks available in the Cambridge - London region. WE will travel to collect.
You may wonder why we have a large chipmunk enclsosure and only two chipmunks. They were orginally in a smaller (wardrobe sized) cage and then they had 7 babies, all of which we had to give away because there wasnt enough room. Then we built the larger aviary. At that point we were worried about a population explosion, but then the older male died and our new male was too young to have babies this year. Now Waffle has died I am not too worried about breeding, just missing having two for the company, and her actually.
