Can't wait for my new litter and the cutest skweaking sound ever.
They are sooooooo adorable when they are babies and full of fun. The best pets ever.

All these baby pics makes me wanna go & look in my nest boxes! As i've posted before, i never see mine until they come out into the big wide world on their own. I'm beginning to get impatient!

Well done for not handling them.
It must be very hard to do that. They are so cute
when they are babies and to wait so long till they come out by themselves
is amazing. Great job.

They don't normally venture out until they are around 4-5 weeks old. It's quite exciting once they start. Because i don't look in the nest boxes i never know how many i have either!
I tend to find that the stronger one's venture out first & a few days later you will see a few more. Trouble is, until they have all ventured out & are all out together you can't count them because you never know if you're counting the same one's or not.!  :icon_scratch:
I remember once thinking i had a litter of 5 when there was in fact 9!
I've bred this way for years & have always resisted having a look. I guess i enjoy the element of suprise!  :o
