Oh the video didn't come out
Abigail didn't want to get near me today even with nuts. She spent the rest of the day asleep in Bailey's nestbox and chased him out of there. I think she was very put out yesterday when i cleaned out her box, i didn't want to disturb it but the hay was smelling musty and she had lots of old stored food. I replaced some of that food with fresh food but most she will have to start from scratch.
Jane, that is normal even an aggressive female will be best friends with a male on her calling day. Some males can be abit nervous to approach her at first if she has usually been quite nasty to him. Abigail and Hermione are real flirts, Pearl not so much she doesn't go out of her way except for chirping. Hazel used to be a flirt to she would actually follow a male around until he mated. Both Hermione and Abigail will chirp if the male ignores them and then roll on the floor. I don't know if you have ever seen a cat in season but it reminds me of that but more quiet, thankfully. My Elle (my cat) screamed for a week day and night when she was in season, no joke

and she also ruined the glass of my window by scratching it to get out to the boys. We put out with this twice until we got her spayed. I think i have a video of it somewhere on an old camcorder tape. Good luck with your female getting pregnant.
