I never intended to breed any, and I was first told that they are really hard to breed. But after I got Sue I thought she needed female company and got what I thought was another female. But after a couple of months the new one turned out to be a boy. I wasn't worried still thinking they wouldn't breed, but the next spring there was a happy accident. I guess if there is plenty of space and a constant conveyer belt of assorted foods arriving, they will grow in numbers. My problem is I could not bring myself to part with any of them, so I make a useless breeder.
I'm gong to update my blog later this week, as Sue's eye is not much better, and with new lighting, some of them are staying up until about 9pm now, Willow just ran over the keyboard as I'm trying to type. Someone wedged some seeds around the letter T on this keyboard (Snowy I think), so I have to press it really hard, I've got through some many keyboards I keep two new ones as spares now.
