I've been keeping exotics of all sorts since I was a sprog, I've just completed building a large avery in the garden. a 6ft x 6ft x 3ft avery with a section attatched at 3ft x 3ft x 6ft. This is so I can get the air lock in to stop the little buggers escaping when I get in there. It's a nice set up! I then thought, right I'll just pop out and get me some chipmunks to go in there (already done the old husbandry research), but I was dissapointed to say the least! The only ones I could find was from some con merchant in wolverhampton who said he couldn't get them any cheaper than £129 per pair! We all know going rate is between £25 and £30 per chipmunk... so what's going on?
first I was after just normals. But it seems it doesn't matter what sort you go for, they are all equaly hard to get your mits on, and equally priced. I settled on the idea of having a pair of white or albino chipmunks. I want to grow the colony slowly and thought that the babies will probably be a mixture of albino, whites and normals form a pair of whites or albino so I'd have a nice mixture of colour then.

loving_allsorts@yahoo.co.uk . I live in stafford and am wiling to travel a bit to get them. birmingham south, utoxeter east, manchester north, liverpool west etc. a nice big catchment area. Surely somebody in these areas have something available... please?
