:icon_scratch:  :'( :dontknow:  :angel8: :angel7: :angel9: :boxing: :director:They no doubt would live together but the exact amount of time they bothe remained alive would make interesting betting on a web cam odds of the budgies surviving would be pretty low in my book.
I once tried zebra finches and chips together.... :squirrel1 :squirrel1 :squirrel1 guess who won.
And that was overnight...
you may very well get away with it however if your chips are too slow or overfed so much they sleep all day :sleepy1: but I doubt it.

this is an interesting subject and I've heard different views.
My chipmunk book said its possible and showed pitcures of them both together.
I have just acquired a budgie that I would like to put in the aviary permanently.
Today I put her in but inside her cage over the next few days I'll try letting her a watch how she gets on.
She is a vicious budgie so I hoping she'll hold her own.......
I'll keep you posted on her progress

I am very carefull about this arrangement but so far so good.
The budgie spends all his time in his cage and only comes out when I take him out.
The chipmunks go in his cage but only for his food there has been no aggression. Harry (the budgie who is actually a female) is not bothered by the chipmunks.
I shut the cage at night and put a blanket over as he is not used to being outside.
