Burgess discontinuing their chipmunk food - what to feed?

pets at hom do there own make  its 3.30 a bag

and my petshop just got a other make

put photo on of it  i payed 4 pound for this one

Thats the food i'm looking in to getting as mine don't like the pets at home musli much. Have your chipmunk's tried it? Any good?

I use their Chinchilla food but haven't tried the Chipmunk food yet.....I order mine off http    ://www.onlynaturalpetsupplies.co.uk/         They sell the Chipmunk food as well so might give it a go

I give mine the pets@home museli, but mix in a range of other things... usually extra monkey nuts, bird seed mix, dried fruit, different nuts. Mine seem to like it enough with the extra bits. I've also used hamster food with extras mixed in when I've not been able to get to pets@home. seems pretty similar to the chipmunk museli but you need to add in nuts and more seeds.

i just give mine wagg hamster food then supplement it with extra seeds, nuts n what ever they'll eat which is basically anything n everything  the only special food i buy is for my degus and thats only coz theyre prone to diabetes

Hi there,
    Reading all your post why the big panic over the chipmunk food, I ve always mixed my own,  and all my chipmunks do extremley well on it,  I start of with a base, which is fruity parrot mix, (by the sack 15k for £19-99) and add dog/cat mix, with fresh fruit ( apple, banana, grapes, ect ) corn + on the cob, ceral, maize, and wheat, plus monkey nuts, all in all I find that mixing your own, you 1st no what your putting into there food and 2nd you get more for your money,

I do the same as Martyn
My chipmunks prefer the parrot mix to any other food. They don't like the chipmunk, hamster or rabbit mix, they leave most of it. 
I buy the parrot mix in the local garden center. Take the chillies out and it's ready to eat.
I usually buy dried fruit and mix it together and of course fresh veg and fruit. My females favorite is yogurt drops. She loves them
They eat anything to be honest.

Mine too - I always buy parrot food and supplement it with dried fruits, nuts, cranberries etc.
