I just recently built an outdoor Aviary for my Chipmunks and made a false floor with tunnels and nesting area underneath which my Chipmunks adore. I have recently been thinking about desgning an indoor aviary with something similar to my outdoor Aviary. After having a look at a chipmunk burrow
http://www.esf.edu/aec/adks/mammals/chipmunk.htmthat some experts had dug up made me think how natural it would be to incorporate a system like that (obviously on a smaller scale) into our pet chipmunks Aviary, So what I need from you guys is some ideas on how this could be accomplished, i have drawn a few plans that i will share eventually but all constructive input would be very helpful.
