:hello2:Glad to know your on your way to being a certified chipnut

the oldest your new arrival is goint to be will be 12 months if that.
Age makes very little difference to taming so I have found over the years.
The main thing is to be consistant when you are around them.

Don't fall in love with them and be a 24/7 companion for two weeks then just pop in now and then to see them.
Patience and more patience is the best way I find,

that and a load of peanuts secreted about the person.
If you have room inside the aviary try putting a chair in, Either built into the frame or just free standing.
The chips will apreciate it if you can be with them in a still and calm condition so they can come and see what you are and more importantly if you taste nice

.
I have a bench in mine and spend 15 minutes at least every day regardless of the weather in the aviary with them when they first arrive

It has helped enormously that they can crawl all over me without fear vefore i try to tempt them with goodiies

most come round within a month to be able to sit on my hand and take food while I have had some who have no fear and jump on me within 24 hours.
Just remember like all animals they are not frightened of you they are just wary and cautious, but unlike most animals they have a very inquisitive nature and want to know every last detail of their habitat and that includes you
