Less than a week aftert having a bad scare with my brown male and thinking it was the worst that could have happened I have now lost my dilute boy Ivory:-(, he was the tamest and friendiest of them all, always right there for a treat, sat on my shoulder or in my shirt all the time, I could pick him up pet him and he never once pooped on me or tried to bite.
It seems late last night he got the cage door open, I have no idea how(I have been second guessing myself all day wondering if I locked it right after puttting him back in) and after having a good romp around the room found his way to the big garbage can of salt water I was mixing for my aquarium, climbed up the power cord to the heater fell in and could not get back up the cords and drowned! I tore the place up looking for him before I realized he was there but it was far to late to save him, R.I.P little guy:-(
