Hello everyone!
i am going on holidays soon and i don't have family or friends to look after my three chipmunks while i am away.
So i did some research on the internet to find a boarding for them.I eventually found one that accept chipmunks.i just come back from this place and i am not that happy...

They have mainly dogs.
The room where they told me they could place my babies was shared with rabbits, guinea pigs and cats.My babies would have been placed right in front of these cats.So i said NO WAY.My chippies can not be face to face with these cats. They are not used to.

Eventually the lady said they could put them in some kind of kitchen, that i guess the staff use. There is a window where they can see outside, but the dogs barking is quite loud and it smells a lot of dogs.

I thought it would be a bit more friendly.
The lady was very nice to me and they seem to look well after the animals.
However the lady did not seem to have much knowledge about chipmunks and that's what is worrying me.i shown her some pictures and she said they looked like gerbils... :nono:I asked if the other members of the staff were familiar to chippies and she could not tell me.
What are your thoughts.
Does anyone know of a nice boarding in bedfordshire, hertfordshire, london area?

Cheers
