Like Marc I thought it might be a Ground Squirrel so had a quick look on Google and it looks like one of these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_Ground_Squirrel

I think thats a closer match Jenny, They were only slightly larger if at all, but very cute. I will try and get some video in March
