Hi, think i've found species of chipmunk i like but need help.

Hi all, I've had response from my first question which was very helpfull, I'm no longer interested in eastern chipmunks ( to aggressive, harder to tame and very Territorial ). I've been looking through western species and the Townsends chipmonk caught  my eye ( townsend is my bosses surname ) I think the nickname is Tami's ? not sure, I'm new to all this chipie stuff, so you'll have to forgive me. If any of you can give me some information about this species, can they be bought in UK ? are there any breeders ? ETC I would be very greatfull, i live in Gloucester if thats any help,    cheers have a good bank holiday weekend,   Paul.

Hi Blissy, i've never heard of Townsend Chipmunks or any of the Western Chipmunk's being kept as pets here in the UK, somehow i doubt they are available here. My question, why not Siberian? Siberian's make great pets, are available in the UK in a variety of colours and can be tamed easily and are friendly and very attractive.

Maybe someone else can give you an idea about Western's
