Just done the main bit which was the upgrade of the forum, it’s an easy thing to do, just clicking a few buttons. It’s the same software but looks a little different.
Next stage is checking and then setting up some spam filters.
Since yesterday new members that have signed up have not been real members but spammers who want to sell us various snake oil medical cures and dodgy financial investments, nothing that a chipmunk would be interested in.
But prospective new members have been held in an approval pen, then had their Internet fingerprint checked and of course not approved if found to be a spammer.
