Night time noises!
« on: October 22, 2011, 12:39:39 PM »
Okay so basically my indoor chippies are makin noises in their sleep, its mainly the 4 in the big indoor aviary. Lilo used to do this when i first got her but not as much now and Geordie does it the odd time too. Are the just dreaming and 'talking' in their sleep or is this a sign that they are unwell? I've never really worried about it but just wanted to make sure, does anyone elses chips do this? ???

i dont think its a sign of illness unless they look unwell, mine sometimes squeak like a very soft constant chirp, sounds a bit like hiccups :sign10: and if they share a bed they make noises disturbing each other wriggling about :icon_thumleft:

Yeah the noises are very cute. Their like little babies haha, They don't have any tv mik as Lilo thought it would be funny to chew the wire from the tv to the plug, luckily it was off and all was safe, Got cable tidys over evey wire now :nono: Also Geordie decided he didn't want to sleep in his nest box last night and slept in a burrow he made in the shared digging pot in my room. He has his own but decided 'no i want this one' :P And Lilo and the babies were all out together last night in my room, no arguments :icon_cheers: now to work on Geordies anger issues with other chips, Thank you all for reassuring me that my chips noises are just 'talking' in ther sleep haha!

Wouldn't mind sleeping in the shed myself. But the chipmunks toys, food take up all the room :P
