Thanks for your lovely comments Charley. I've owned Chipmunks for a lot of years now..............so believe me, this has been a long time in the planning! its been so great to have a proper seat to sit in there with them. Even my hubby came in and sat there with them running all over him - he had a huge grin on his face by the time we came out. It was so great to see them with soooo much space, I never truly realised how fast a chipmunk could run until this afternoon watching them running up and down the path. I also got them a small animal treat ball, like the type you get for dogs, i was gobsmacked when within 5 minutes one of them had already figured out how to work it. It was hysterical watching them rolling it up and down the path to get treats.......they really are intelligent creatures.

I'm sure there's probably some better ones out there.........but I'm proud of my hubby and myself for making it all ourselves...........even if we are both in traction for the next few weeks! LOL!

Not sure what happened with some of those pictures, looks like some duplicated in that last lot I posted.....I must have overloaded my system.

Not a problem Mik, the rates are very reasonable, my chippies are giving me a couple of monkey nuts and 2 sunflower seeds a week each in rent! Personally I'd rather of had cold, hard cash, but none of them have a wallet

I'll make sure you are on the first refusal list guyinherts! Although not sure I'll be moving for a while, it cost us a few quid to make the aviary....imagine we'll be paying it off for a while

Debbi,e I didn’t see this thread when you started it last year, and have spent time this morning looking at the building of your fantastic aviaries. I luv the time and care you have put into these, with each photo I saw another little detail.

Superb luxury accommodation and your chipmunks look the picture of health.

I am almost tempted to believe in reincarnation in the hope I come back as a chipmunk to live in one of your aviaries.

Bet there’s a waiting list now though.
