Random Question

Does anyone know why chipmunks wag their tails  :dontknow: because when mine is out it just stays in one spot and wags his tail for ages, is this similar to dogs wagging their tails because their happy?

I think they swish their tails in a slow S shape if they are unsure or nervous about somthing. If it's a faster swish then it could be they are being confrontational or angry.

When they are happy they make a very soft noise like a sneeze.

cheers Nate. i thought tht was just a sneeze lol but he does it quite a bit when he is in his nesting box would that still mean he is happy?

A sneeze! that is a new one on me, I will have to try and listen harder, maybe there is too much traffic were I live!!!
