Ready in June - Dilute, Agouti (Cinnamon Carriers) and Cinnamon - ROMFORD, ESSEX

Hi,

I have three litters of babies all ready for loving new homes in June. They are handled every day. No time wasters please, please only contact if you really would like a baby. Homes with outside aviaries or large indoor cages only. For collection only since i do not drive.

Litter one : One month old. All Dilute White. Mum is Hermione (Dilute), Dad is Asriel (Dilute). Three males and three females. All available. Ready from 1st June.
Litter two: Three weeks old. All Agouti (carry Dilute and Cinnamon). Mum is Lottie (Dilute), Dad is Nugget (Cinnamon). Two boys, four girls. Five available (one girl staying) Ready from 13th June.
Litter three: Two weeks old. Agouti (carry Cinnamon) and Cinnamon. Mum is Willow (Agouti Cinnamon carrier), Dad is Nugget (Cinnamon). Four girls, three boys. Four available. (Two Cinnamon females (i might swap one for an unrelated Cinnamon though) and Agouti female are staying)

Available:
Two Agouti males
One Cinnamon male (for Cinnamon breeding programme ideally)
One Agouti female.

I Will not sell brothers and sisters together or opposite sex pairs from Hermione's litter and Lottie's litter since Lottie is Hermione's and Asriel's daughter from last year. Or opposite sex pairs from Lottie's and Willow's litter since they have the same dad. Opposite sex pairs are available from Hermione's and Willow's litters since Hermione and Asriel are not related to Willow or Nugget.

All Agouti babies will carry Cinnamon so will be useful in a Cinnamon breeding programme either paired with a Cinnamon or another Agouti (Cinnamon carrier)

I'd like any new owners to keep in touch and send me regular photos of how my precious babies are getting on    I'm really going to miss them.

I would now like to keep a Agouti male from Lottie's litter instead of a female, so the fourth female from Lottie's is now available.

Three Agouti (one Agouti female and two Agouti males) from Willow's litter.

The Cinnamon carriers are all related because they all have the same dad. I've sold the baby male Cinnamon and the females are staying.

Four female Agouti's from Lottie's litter
One male Agouti Cinnamon Carrier from Willow's litter.

I've been speaking to another breeder about the Agouti babies from Lottie and it seems that the babies could carry either Dilute from mum or Cinnamon from dad and some may not be carriers at all. Think i understand this more clearer now so i can't guarantee the babies from Lottie will be Cinnamon carriers.

But since Willow is a Cinnamon carrier her babies will be Cinnamon carriers since they get one copy of the gene from her or a copy from dad.

I still have 5 Dilutes (3 males and 2 females), they will be 8 weeks on wednesday and ready to go.

Also have 3 Agouti's all female from Lottie's litter 6 weeks old and ready after 13th June and 1 male Agouti (carries Cinnamon) he should be ideal for a Cinnamon breeding programme from Willow's litter 5 weeks old and ready after the 18th June.

I would really like them to go to aviary homes, don't forget double-meshing and also a double-door if an outside aviary, these babies are not afraid of Cats they see them regularly so best not to take chances. Good homes only. I'd like new owners to stay in touch and send me photos. Thanks.

The Dilutes are ready to go, 9 weeks old on wednesday. The Agouti girls are 7 weeks old on monday and ready from 13th June and the Agouti boy is 6 weeks old today and will be ready from 18th June. All very friendly.

Please bring a suitable small rodent carrier, no cardboard boxes.

Hi Sivaji, They are all babies. Are you interested in male or female? The Dilute's are 9 weeks old and the last Agouti will be 7 weeks on saturday (ideally i want him to go into a Cinnamon breeding programme because the gene he carries is rare)

But i have four Dilutes that would be perfect, they are very tame. I have one boy and three girls left.

Thats ok, i may yet have a Agouti female become available (i have 4 in the litter), somebody who contacted me some weeks ago and reserved her has not been back in touch for some time now so may no longer want her. I'll send her another message and ask her to get back to me A.S.A.P. she isn't on this forum to see if she still wants her hopefully i will hear back , if not she is yours if you would like. I will let you know. I haven't got time for timewasters and its beginning to look like that Agouti female will be left without a home if this person no longer wants her.  If it doesn't work out i wish you luck with getting your Agouti from another breeder.

Hi Michael, Thanks for getting in touch, the Cinnamon is a variety of Chipmunk that is very rare and to breed one you need two Cinnamons which will have 100% Cinnamon babies, Two Agouti (carrying Cinnamon gene) which will result in about 50/50 Cinnamon & Agouti (carrying Cinnamon gene) babies or it is possible to breed a Cinnamon to a Dilute but this can result in any colour babies even Agouti.

If my Agouti (carrying Cinnamon) male breeds with your Agouti he can't produce Cinnamons unless your Agouti is also a Cinnamon carrier (If your Agouti is a Cinnamon carrier she would of had Cinnamon siblings) and if he breeds with your Dilute i'm not really sure if Cinnamon would be possible unless your Dilute carried the Cinnamon gene. Trouble is since he is part Agouti that gene would probably be dominant over the Cinnamon gene he carries which would likely result in Agouti babies that may carry Cinnamon. My male has a Cinnamon brother and two sisters. Here are some pics of these special babies and one of my adult Cinnamon R.I.P. and Willow ( a Agouti who carries Cinnamon and the mum of these babies) And finally is Nugget the dad of the babies 

These Cinnamon babies i've got are very precious (they are my first baby Cinnamons for 8 years) and because even the Agouti's are Cinnamon carriers they will all be ideal for a Cinnamon breeding programme if paired with either a Cinnamon or another Cinnamon carrier. If he goes to yours he won't be able to breed Cinnamons. His Cinnamon brother and Agouti (Cinnamon carrier & Cinnamon sisters and other Agouti Cinnamon carrier brother) will all be going into Cinnamon breeding programmes.

So far i've had no interest in the remaining male for a Cinnamon breeding programme and he does need a home:

Would breeding the Cinnamon Chipmunk be something you would be interested in?

If so i would sell him to you if at a later date you would pair him with a Cinnamon female or a Agouti (carrying Cinnamon) female aswell as your other two females. The thing is nobody really knows how rare the Cinnamon variety is in the U.K. so any Cinnamon babies or Agouti babies carrying the Cinnamon gene are vital to a already very rare population.

Hi Jenny I would use normal email but it won't send :@ i know this is probs a big no no but if your cinnamon carrier male is still avaliable any possibilty you would use an animal courier?? I would love to put him with my girls and see what babies I get and hopefully in the near future get a female to breed with him, I'm in contact with someone at the moment about a girl xx
