Bailey is not well..possible MBD

Hang in there, they are tough little creatures and I think you caught what ever is ailing Bailey early enough.  buddy was pretty lethargic for almost a month.  Even yesterday he was mellow all day and today he was extremely active (and aggressive, unfortuneately). 

Go back and read my Buddy just threw up Blood thread on TSB, it takes a long time and people will encourage the both of you to "keep on keeping on."   there was a point that if buddy did not improve, I was going to put him to sleep.  1.5 days before I was going to make my decision is when he rallied and I could tell he was over the hump.  That took two weeks, and then there was two weeks of him mostly acting lethargic with a few days sprinkled in between where he was active and aggressive.  As long as I saw slight improvement, I thought there was hope.

Now I have to go away for a business trip every week for the next couple weeks and I had to hire a pet sitter since I don't think he is completely out of the woods yet. 

If you are that concerned and you see his weight continue to drop, then take him to a vet.  Maybe he may need antibiotics. 

Don't give up, we are rooting for both of you.

Thanks i am trying to remain positive, i always think there is hope if there is improvement but then if they get worse again it makes me start to lose hope but i will continue to help him as best as i can and even if he is lethargic for weeks like you said if he has some good days where he is more active then everything is worth it.

I have to admit with Buddy i had doubts he would get better and here is now active and agressive  sorry about the aggressive part.

Hopefully he will start to gain some weight but yes we will take him to the vet if not.

Bailey is still lethargic, i'm alternating his feedings between babyfood apple and pear flavour at the moment, raspberry yoghurt, calcium carbonate (no Vit D) and a little peditye blackcurrent flavour.  I'm feeding him little and often every half hour at the moment. He won't eat much, he can only take small bits at a time and even that is difficult because he will bite the syringe and kick it away.

I taste everything i give him and the baby food is actually quite nice and the peditye isn't bad either before the plain one really didn't taste nice.

I will really miss him he was my special handsome little man i can't say much more right now i'm so in shock.

G-d's way. 

Unfortuneately Buddy is heading in that same direction.  His clicking is louder and he has a runny nose and is sneezing.  He just finished the Baytril on Friday and is a bit lethargic today.  He is not even being aggressive with me today.

Bailey has been laid to rest between Amber and Pearl. I thought he had something in common with both of them. Pearl had MBD aswell and Amber was his girlfriend.

Sorry to hear about Bailey, I had to have my Mindy put to sleep on Monday night, still feeling it now and am sure I will for weeks to come if not longer. Lots of love going out to you rigt now x

Very sad to hear you lost Mindy R.I.P.
The first few weeks are the hardest, i think about Bailey alot. You will find it does get easier but i won't lie you probably will always think about Mindy and miss her. I think about all my babies who have gone i've got quite a few over the rainbow bridge, i still celebrate their birthdays and also will think about them on the aniversary of the day they died, today was when my Hazel died last year she was the last of my very first litter.

Thanks Ellie its a month today since he passed away  i think about him often and call Nugget his brother, Bailey by mistake alot since he is so similar to Bailey in his habits
