Pretty Amber

Amber became four months old today.

The pic of her and Bailey is the closest they have been together, both were just trying to get as many nuts as possible and didn't seem to notice each other.

Willow, Nutkin, Bailey and Amber are living together now, i've removed the cage, hoping things will be ok its definately better than the first attempt of them all living together but i will keep an eye on them. Amber is often sleeping in the hammock at the moment, there is a nest box for her so i'm hoping she'll move in there some point before it gets really cold.

Yes she's growing up, she's the youngest of my Chipmunks. Really glad you love the pics and thanks for letting me have her, she's very sweet

Some Amber pics from today

The Chipmunks had pomergrante and tried watermelon today. Amber was the only one of the four to really try the melon the others preferred the pomergrante. Amber also showed interest in the shelled pecans but she didn't try and open one. She's doing great, climbs on me for treats.

I tried the Chipmunks with a assortment of shelled nuts but so far they haven't tried to break into them, guess they are lazy being used to nuts out of shells. They rarely get shelled nuts as they are only available for christmas but we thought we would try them to give them something to do which is good for the teeth.
