A few weeks ago I got a new female chipmunk she was about 11 weeks old when I got her.
I was hoping that she would be a good friend for my male munk Ahrlan.
Well Ahrlan adores her... he always goes up to her cage and sniffs at her.
Problem is that whenever he gets close to her cage she lunges out at him.
Ahrlan doesn't understand that she doesn't want him near her cage and keeps going back.
Ahrlan is a pushover and I am afraid that she will harm him.
Any ideas?
I haven't let them out together yet.
I am a bit afraid to.
Ahrlan is just such an old guy I don't want her to hurt him  Sad

Hi There.
You could try this sometimes it works and sometimes it dont, start of with a very clean cage and put both chipmunks in it at the same time, you must make sure that there is NO sent of eather chipmunk also make sure that there is new nesting boxes so that there is No sent too, but keep an eye on them, I found that  sometimes it works,
   All the best
