After buying the panels for the cage a year ago, getting it set up a few weeks ago and moving in toys/entertainment.. we finally got two female chipmunks today!  icon_cheers
We have one dilute (Sibel) and one agouti (Marcey)
They're very friendly and tame and I think they're about 10/11 weeks old.
We bought them from the nice guy chris (browny on the forum) in WOlverhampton and they're great!
Sibel was climbing all over me tonight and Marcey was nibbling food from my hand!  toothy4
It has taken them from about 5 till 10 to sort out there nest and they ended up sleeping in the hanging basket with hay!

Look forward to spending more time with them tomorrow and I'll upload some photos then too.

I'm also going to my grandparents tomorrow and will pick up a few more branches, logs, stumps etc  icon_thumleft

Been in today, gave them some strawberries which they both liked.
Marcey came up to me and took a peice of strawberry and Sibel took a peanut and cracked it open  icon_cheers
Took some videos as well, which I'll edit and put on later...
They like perching on the plantpot, so i'm going to put some compost in today as well  icon_thumleft
Here's some pics from yesterday  toothy4

Oooo I want to try a hanging basket, or maybe a half one for my small aviary  sign10 Maybe I could start adding more shelves for my pair too. Your cage looks great and your chipmunks are gorgeous!  love3 love3

thankyou sam  hello2
they love the basket, especially sibel.. i was a bit worried they'd fall through the gaps but they're fine.
in fact, on the first night they slept in it as their nest box didn't have much hay  toothy4
hopefully some shelves are coming tommorow   icon_thumleft

cheers jenny, yes i have been waiting a while! and i've finally got them  icon_flower
got up early this morning and they both took a cashew nut from my hand... later on today i offered them grapes but they were just higher up on the ropes and in the basket.  icon_brilsmurf

also ordered some wax worms today so should be here by wednesday, looking forward to them climbing all over me  hello2

went away over the weekend. came back and the were friendly as anything for some reason! i also started playing classic fm on a timer and they seen to be a lot bolder since playing it. marcey is mad for food! and will climb over me for anything, sibel on the other hand is a bit more reserved.

i added a lot more branches out for them and they seen to be running around a lot more since, i also have been giving them wax worms, strawberries, grapes, banana, cashew nuts, pitachio nuts and pumpkin seeds!

will post some photo's tonight
