Poppy flowers?

I was wondering if chipmunks are ok to eat poppy flowers. I know that they like roses and other flowers but not sure if they could eat poppy. :dontknow:
Has anyone here given them to their chipmunks and is it safe or not ???, as I don;t want my chipmunks to go high from it. :happy7: :happy7:

I have no idea if poppies are safe for chippies, but my rule of thumb is if I don't know I don't give. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks guys. I have not given they any.The area we live in has lots and lots of them and I wasn't sure if they could have any but i think I am going to give it a miss as I don't :nono: want them to go high as a kite.  :icon_bounce: :icon_bounce: :icon_bounce:Thank  :sunny:

think ur doing right by not giving them any ive not heard of anyone giving them poppies so if it was me i would give them a miss :icon_flower:
