hi Pitkin

you have to sit in your aviary and just be still if you have walnuts and also dried mealworms they should come to you, they also love millet , monkey nuts and pomegranite, , when i go into my aviary i just sit on the floor and wait then your girls mum comes over and sniffs at me etc then she goes in my pockets after food and after about half hour or so the others come out but if you make sudden moves they scarper and hide, and it starts all over again,

but usually they are out most of the day sunbatheing, i am sure they will come to you eventually,it just takes loads of time and patience, but i am so pleased they have such a loving owners and have a fantastic new home, well done you building that aviary from scratch

ps my glider came to my shoulder last night first time since i got them over 8 weeks ago, that was quite scary as he was sniffing around my ears and neck as he does actually bite(not hard ) but already have pierced ears so dont need them done again
