Chipmunks digging

It's natural for chipmunks to dig, and to allow my indoor chipmunks to enjoy themselves I put out several large pots of potting compost, which are kept damp. This video is of three chipmunks, Toto, Sprint and Snowy trying out one of the pots. For Toto it's the first time she has been able to dig.

Hi I love your chipmunks i Got One The other day and i love him i called him Alvin from a telivision programe Called Alvin and the chipmunks u might of heard of it.I want to say i think ur chipmunks are really cute! Im 11 years old and im afraid incase he might bite if i stick in my finger Haha so if u want to answer do If not Okay Byee x
Webmasters reply: Thanks Kayleigh, I'm so glad you liked the website. Being bitten by a chipmunk is not really a problem i find. They like to be given time to get to know you. Most don't like to be picked up, they would much rather jump on to your arm. Chipmunks may bite if they are frightened, so if you keep all your movements slow, and talk in a soft voice, you will never be bitten. Chipmunks are not aggressive towards their owners, you just need to let them do things at their pace.
